How much does AutoChain cost?
The core plan is £69.99 a month plus VAT. It includes the jobs board, calendar, digital vehicle health checks, estimates, invoices, automated MOT reminders by email, the online booking widget, parts and tyre stock, AI invoice scanning with 25 scan credits a month, and live Xero, QuickBooks and Sage sync. Optional add-ons are SMS (£15/mo + VAT with 200 credits included), HaynesPro (£49.99/mo + VAT per site), multi-site (priced per site), and pay-as-you-go scan credits and Axel AI credits.
Is there a contract?
No. AutoChain is a monthly rolling subscription. You can cancel anytime, with no lock-in period and no cancellation fee.
Do I pay extra for more staff?
No. Unlimited employees are included, each with their own login and permissions. There are no per-seat or per-user charges.
Do your prices include VAT?
No. All AutoChain prices exclude VAT, which is added at the standard rate. The core plan is £69.99 a month plus VAT, which is £83.99 a month including VAT at 20%.
What's included in the free month?
Everything in the core plan, free for your first month, with no card needed to start. Add-ons you switch on, such as SMS, are billed from day one. HaynesPro is not part of the free trial and is charged at £49.99/mo + VAT per site from the day you add it.
How do I switch to AutoChain?
Create your account, add your garage details and start booking work. Most garages are running in about 10 minutes, and you can add customers and vehicles as they come in: entering a registration fills in the vehicle and its MOT history for you. How does AI invoice scanning pricing work?
Every garage gets 25 scan credits a month in the core plan, and unused credits do not roll over. A one-page supplier invoice uses 1 credit and longer invoices use more. If you need more, a business manager buys scan credit packs inside AutoChain, priced plus VAT, and bought credits never expire.
Are there any setup or hidden fees?
No setup fee and nothing to install. Card payments taken through Stripe carry Stripe's processing fees, SMS messages use credits from the SMS add-on, and invoice scans beyond the 25 free credits a month use scan credit packs. Everything else is in the monthly price.
