Order GSF parts without leaving the job

Open GSF TradeHub from a work line in AutoChain, pick the parts you need, and they land back on that line with cost and retail prices. No typing part numbers or prices twice.

Overview

GSF TradeHub, one click from the work line

Most garages order parts in one window and price the job in another, then type every part number and price across. The GSF integration joins the two. AutoChain opens GSF TradeHub (GSF's punchout catalogue) for the vehicle on the job, you build your basket there as normal, and GSF sends it straight back to the work line you started from.

It works from the work lines on a job. The parts are added ready to order, and you place the order with GSF from the job when you are ready. Nothing is ordered just by picking parts.

How it works

From work line to GSF basket and back

  1. Choose Add Parts on the work line

On a job, choose Add Parts on the work line that needs them. GSF TradeHub opens on the vehicle's registration, so you are looking at parts that fit.

  2. Pick parts in GSF's catalogue

Search and build your basket in GSF TradeHub just as you do today, at your own GSF trade prices. When you are done, send the basket back to AutoChain.

  3. Parts land on the work line with prices

The parts arrive on the work line you started from, with your cost price and a suggested retail price you can change. Place the order with GSF from the job when you are ready.

Why it matters

What it saves your garage

  • Minutes back on every job

No ringing the counter, no second browser tab to copy from. Find the part in GSF and it is on the job.

  • No re-keying, fewer mistakes

Part numbers, descriptions, quantities and prices come straight from your GSF basket, so nothing is mistyped between the two systems.

  • Prices without leaving AutoChain

See GSF's catalogue and your own trade prices from the work line, with cost, retail and margin side by side before you add the parts.

  • Orders recorded on the job

Placed GSF orders show on the job card with the GSF order reference and an AutoChain purchase order number, so everyone can see what has been ordered.

How to connect

Settings > Integrations

  2. In AutoChain, go to Settings > Integrations and open the GSF Car Parts card.
  3. Enter your GSF account number and choose Request connection.
  4. We link the account for you. The card then shows Connected, and Add Parts appears on your work lines.
FAQ

GSF and AutoChain: common questions

Straight answers to what garages ask us about this integration.

Do I need a GSF account?

Yes. The integration uses your own GSF Car Parts trade account, so you see your own trade prices. Send us your account number from Settings > Integrations and we connect it.

Does AutoChain order the parts automatically?

No. The parts land on the work line ready to order, and you place the order with GSF from the job when you choose to. Nothing is ordered just by picking parts.

Can I change the price I charge the customer?

Yes. Each part comes in with your cost price and a suggested retail price. You can change the retail price and quantity before the parts are added, and see your margin as you go.

Where do I see what has been ordered?

Placed GSF orders show on the job card with the GSF order reference and an AutoChain purchase order number. Delivery is handled by your GSF branch as usual.
